Q- What’s a European shank?
A- A European shank has a flattened bottom, which sits on the underside of your finger. When held sideways, the ring looks like the bottom has been pressed square. The advantage of Euro shank engagement rings is that they don't tend to spin on the finger like a traditional round ring.
