Lauren Ramirez

I’m a goldsmith using traditional techniques to create unique fine jewelry to live in.

I studied at the North Bennett Street School in Boston and the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco.

I’m fixated on improving my systems and growing my business everyday. I use 100% recycled precious metals, Canadian mined diamonds, Montana mined sapphires, and recycled African mined diamonds taken from vintage jewelry. Learn more about my practices and preferred suppliers here.

I learned most of my bench jewelry skills from Alan Revere, and cut my teeth side by side traditional goldsmiths in San Francisco's  Phelan Building. It was known as the Jewelers Building until 2014.

I now spend my time designing and fabricating jewelry in the workshop within my boutique, Quercus Studio, located in Raleigh, NC.

I believe in passing things on, and I like the idea of my designs being worn by many generations.

I have a dog named Alfred. He's by my side in the shop most days.
