I studied at the North Bennett Street School in Boston and the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco.
From platinum wedding bands to my raw collection of wearable art, each piece of jewelry was hand crafted in my San Francisco studio before moving to North Carolina. I now spend my time designing and fabricating pieces in the workshop within my boutique, Quercus Studio, located in Raleigh, NC.
I learned most of my bench jewelry skills from Alan Revere, and by working side by side with traditional goldsmiths in San Francisco's Phelan Building. It was known as the Jewelers Building until 2014.
I’m not attracted to trends. I believe in passing things on. I like the idea of my designs being worn by many generations. I'm inspired by the work of Richard Serra, and the community I choose to surround myself by.
I have a dog named Alfred. He's by my side in the shop most days. He collects hankies made by KAPITAL.
